What the data says about WEETH
weETH is ether.fi's wrapped eETH — the non-rebasing form of the liquid restaking token that sits on EigenLayer beneath the staking layer, so the holder earns both Ethereum staking yield and restaking yield in one claim. The deployment 0xcd5fe23c85820f7b72d0926fc9b05b43e359b7ee is the canonical mint; our October 9, 2026 snapshot reads $9.7 million of tracked pool liquidity.
The honest mechanics: a restaking token is a claim on ETH that is doing two jobs at once — securing Ethereum's consensus and securing EigenLayer services — which means its risk stack is the union of both: staking slashing, restaking slashing, and ether.fi's own contract layer on top. The yield is real; so is the doubled surface it comes from.
