What this wallet can do

This address is recorded on-chain as the mint authority of BNSOL, Binance's staked-SOL token, in HostDeFi's August 9, 2026 authority read. That single role is why it tops this cluster: the pool it controls sits behind roughly $1.04 billion of tracked liquidity as of the August 31, 2026 build — more value than any other authority wallet in our corpus can touch.

An active mint authority usually reads as a warning on this site, but a liquid-staking token is the one category where it is present by construction: the pool must mint new BNSOL every time someone stakes SOL and burn it on withdrawal, so the authority never gets renounced the way a memecoin's does. The honest question is not "why is minting still on" but "who or what holds the key" — for a stake pool that is the pool's own program-controlled authority, and the trust you are extending is to the operator and the code, not to a promise that supply is frozen.

What that means in practice: holders of BNSOL are exposed to this wallet's integrity in a way ordinary token holders are not. If the authority behaved maliciously or was compromised, receipt tokens could in principle be minted without matching stake — which is why the size of the pool makes this one of the most consequential keys on Solana rather than a routine flag. Nothing in our weekly reads has shown anything but normal pool operation.

Figures here are HostDeFi's dated snapshots — the authority state from the August 9, 2026 RPC read, the liquidity aggregate from August 31, 2026. This profile refreshes weekly from on-chain state, and if the authority is ever renounced or rotated, the token drops off this page automatically. The liquid-staking risk guide covers the full framework this page condenses.
