These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of hostdefi.com (the "Service"), operated by the HostDeFi team ("we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. What the Service is
HostDeFi is a non-custodial decentralized-exchange aggregator and token-safety platform. It provides: (a) routing and quoting for token swaps that execute on public blockchains via third-party automated market makers (including Jupiter on Solana and KyberSwap on EVM chains); (b) token-safety analysis computed from on-chain data; (c) public market, token, validator and network reference pages; and (d) a machine-readable API, including an x402 machine-payable tier.
The Service is software, not a financial institution. We are not a broker, exchange operator, custodian, money transmitter, or investment adviser.
2. No custody, no accounts
We never take custody of your funds, private keys, or seed phrases. There are no deposit or withdrawal functions and no account balances. Every swap settles atomically on-chain through the upstream route you approve in your own wallet. Your keys never leave your wallet.
Never send funds to any address claiming to be HostDeFi. We do not operate deposit addresses.
3. Your responsibilities
You are solely responsible for: the transactions you sign and broadcast; verifying destination addresses, tokens, and route quotes before approving; your tax reporting obligations; and the security of your own wallet and keys. Blockchain transactions are irreversible — we cannot reverse, cancel, or refund a transaction once it settles.
4. Prohibited use
You may not use the Service to violate applicable law, including sanctions regulations, money-laundering prohibitions, or securities/commodities rules in your jurisdiction; to interfere with or attack the Service or upstream networks; or to misrepresent the Service as offering custody, guarantees, or investment returns. Access from comprehensively sanctioned jurisdictions is prohibited where prohibited by applicable law.
5. Safety scores and information
Token-safety grades, risk scores, market data, and all other content on the Service are informational only and are computed automatically from public on-chain data and third-party sources. They are not financial, legal, or tax advice, not an endorsement or condemnation of any token, and may be incomplete, stale, or wrong. A high grade is not a guarantee a token is safe; a low grade is not proof of fraud. Always do your own research.
6. Third-party services
Swaps execute through third-party protocols (AMMs, bridges, RPC providers) that are outside our control. Their availability, pricing, slippage, and smart-contract risk are theirs, not ours. Links to third-party sites and listings do not imply endorsement.
7. No warranty; limitation of liability
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR TRADING LOSSES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING LOSSES CAUSED BY SMART-CONTRACT FAILURES, ROUTE PROVIDER FAILURES, OR INCORRECT SAFETY SCORES. WHERE LIABILITY CANNOT BE EXCLUDED, OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO USD $100.
8. Intellectual property
The Service's frontend code is publicly available on GitHub at github.com/verixiaapps. Site content is owned by us and may not be reproduced at scale without permission; quoting with attribution is welcome.
9. Changes and availability
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice. We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page with a new "Last updated" date; continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
