The account wallet: your wallet is already here
Sign in with an email and a six-digit code — the wallet is created inside Privy's hardware enclave, funded with a deposit, and every trade in the app runs without a single signing popup.
The HostDeFi account wallet removes the browser-extension wallet from the loop entirely. You sign up with an email address and a 6-digit code — the same code signs you back in on any device — and the wallet is created server-side inside Privy's hardware enclave. From then on it's just there: deposit SOL, and every surface in the app can trade against that balance without asking you to approve each transaction.
Where the keys actually live
By default the wallet is born inside Privy's hardware enclave, so the key material never sits on our servers in usable form — the enclave is the custody boundary, and what the platform holds is the ability to ask the enclave to sign under your session, not the key itself. There is no exportable seed phrase on that lane — the Backup tab is deliberately hidden, and the Telegram link is the way back in if you lose the device. A legacy local lane survives as a fallback when the enclave is unkeyed; its copy says so honestly and shows the one-time backup key it does have.
What zero popups buys — and what it asks of you
The point of the model is flow: swaps, copies, orders and exits all execute against the deposited balance in one tap, because the session is the authorization. The discipline it asks in return is the one any balance-holding account asks — treat the deposit like a trading float, keep recovery working (the Telegram link exists for exactly this), and withdraw what you're not actively deploying.
Plain-language custody: an enclave wallet means our servers never hold your raw key — but it also means there is no seed phrase to write down. Recovery runs through your email and the Telegram link, so keep both reachable. Nothing here is called "non-custodial"; that word stays reserved for keys that live only on your device.
One email, one wallet, every surface
Create the wallet in under a minute, deposit, and the whole app trades against it — no extensions, no popups.
Frequently asked
How do I create a HostDeFi wallet?
Enter an email address, confirm the 6-digit code, and the wallet is created inside Privy's hardware enclave. The same email signs you back in on any device — no extension, no seed phrase to record.
Where are the wallet's keys stored?
Inside Privy's hardware enclave by default — key material never sits on our servers in usable form. There is no exportable seed phrase on the enclave lane; recovery runs through your email and the Telegram link.
Why are there no signing popups when I trade?
The account wallet holds a session, so trades execute against your deposited balance in one tap. That's the whole model — a trading float you fund, rather than a per-transaction approval flow.
Can I withdraw from the account wallet?
Yes — withdrawals are part of the wallet surface. The intended use is a trading float: deposit what you're deploying, and withdraw the rest rather than treating the balance as long-term storage.
